We learnt from first hand experience Stewart's highly efficient raku firing techniques and procedure. It was exhilirating to see the characteristic raku effects that we achieved on our pots!

Angela Mellor is a contemporary ceramicist who explores the translucency of bone china. Her insipration comes from landscape, coastal environment and light.

Angela shared generously with us how she does bone china and paperclay slipcasting, and her recent project in combining her creations with artificial lighting to bring out the translucent quality of bone china in a magical way.
